The Iron Chef in me comes here for the wide assortment of noodles. They also have an abundance of sauces and plenty of Asian ingredients. In addition these waters they have fresh seafood fruits, veggies and a lot of items you'll want to Google. No need to travel to Queens or Manhattan when Chang Li can indulge you.

Chang Li Supermarket is a gold mine of unique food products you won’t easily find elsewhere. Alongside a wide range of standard grocery items, the store offers many healthy options and an impressive selection of fresh fruits and vegetables that change with the seasons. Some of the unique and exotic fruits I’ve discovered there include mangosteen, dragon fruit (both yellow and red varieties), jackfruit, lychee, rambutan, and several types of bananas. On one visit, I even came across fresh durian, sometimes called the “king of fruits” for its distinct aroma and bold flavor. In the supermarket I purchased Mangosteen which remains one of the most delicious fruits I’ve ever tasted. They seem to always have jackfruit which as the largest tree-borne fruit in the world. The seafood section is just as diverse, featuring catfish, salmon, mackerel, and more. There are also dedicated sections for Mexican and Ecuadorian products, adding to the store’s variety. I’ve found other interesting items too, such as coffee-flavored crackers, purple sweet potatoes, lotus root, and many other distinctive treats. Chang Li is a great place to go grocery shopping in the Bronx.

I discovered a hidden gem with an impressive meat department. I purchased chicken wings, and not only were they very affordable, but they were also the cleanest and highest quality wings I've had in a long time. However, while the chicken wings were great, they weren't the main reason for my visit. I initially went to the store in search of Chinese food and herbal teas. As an Asian market, I was surprised to find that they only had half an aisle dedicated to Chinese herbs and food. Most of the items for sale were Hispanic, which seemed odd given the store's focus. Unfortunately, I had to order everything else I needed from Amazon and TikTok Shop. Chang Li, let's go back to the basics and start selling the goods you used to be known for.

Parking lot available. Large market. There is a wide variety of products available here. The prices are good. Local and imported products. I love the noodle aisle ; excellent variety. There is not a great variety of fish, and you will smell like fish if you go anywhere near the fresh seafood section. Overall, a good experience. I was able to find what I needed.
